The findings from a study at Northwestern University and Evanston Northwestern Healthcare (ENH) found a high-fat diet disrupts the body’s 24-hour internal clock, otherwise known as the circadian clock, which regulates sleeping, waking, eating, as well as many metabolic functions. The findings are published in the Nov. 7th issue of the journal Cell Metabolism.
