The debate and controversy about insomnia have shown no signs of letting up. Common sense would tell you though that regardless of the true nature of insomnia, it pays to pay attention to your insomnia symptom.

Insomnia is a sleeping disorder characterized by the inability to fall asleep and/or the inability to remain asleep for a reasonable amount of time. Insomniacs have been known to complain about being unable to close their eyes or “rest their mind” for more than a few minutes at a time. Both organic and non-organic insomnia constitute a sleep disorder.

Sleep deprived is another term describing insomnia. Insomnia creates a plenitude of problems in daily life. Lack of concentration, confusion, not to mention exhaustion and fatigue are the common symptoms of the sleep deprived.
